Dr. Keith Young, Maynooth University, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ireland
AI Chatbots like ChatGPT have shown great potential in revolutionizing teaching, learning and assessments in
various educational contexts. They can be used by students and teachers in innovative and creative ways to
augment and enhance their work, alongside potentially looking after somewhat more mundane tasks. However,
there are also a variety of limitations and concerns associated with their use. This participatory session will
explore how they can be used through practical demonstrations and in turn share and collate our collective
understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with their use.
For this session, we will have you jumping on your devices - phones and laptops.
